Inaugural GHCA Monthly Social “555” – Happy Hour at Paul’s Homewood Cafe

After such a large turnout at the Paca House for our Spring Social, many attendees requested more frequent events for neighbors old and new to meet and socialize. We are happy to announce that Paul’s Homewood Café has partnered with the GHCA for our first Monthly Social.

What is the Monthly Social?

Every month the GHCA will host a Monthly Social for neighbors to meet in an informal setting to further grow our sense of community. This is not limited to happy hour events, but is open to suggestions and ideas from the neighborhood at large. If you have something you would like to do and would like to help plan/host the event, please reach out to Brian Borden at [email protected]. The greater interest in a particular activity with fellow neighbors who want to participate, the better! Here are some other activities neighbors have expressed interest in:
• Karaoke
• Trivia
• Board Games/Card Games
• Lawn Games
• Sports Events
• Pick-up Games of Soccer, Basketball, etc.
• Bowling
• Book Club

July’s Monthly Social

Paul’s Homewood Café, a community favorite, has agreed to host our first Monthly Social. The “555” Happy Hour will include the following:
• $5 Beer
• $5 Wine
• $5 Appetizers
The event will run from 4:30PM-6:30PM on Thursday, July 28th. Make sure to mark your calendars and join your neighbors for a fun evening. Many GHCA board members will attend as well to hear your suggestions about Monthly Socials, questions/concerns regarding the neighborhood, and to share a drink or two.
