What is a Comprehensive Plan?
Approximately every 10 years, Annapolis drafts a Comprehensive Plan. A Comprehensive Plan is a broad statement about the community, looking approximately 20 years ahead.  The plan includes goals and strategies to achieve the goals, with specific performance measures and targets that will help determine if these goals are being met.

Where can I read copies or highlights of the Comprehensive Plan?
Review copies of the Draft Plan can be found at Michael E. Busch Library, Eastport Annapolis Neck Library, and the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

Or, read it online: https://annapolis-ahead-2040-annapolis.hub.arcgis.com

How do I leave comments on the draft plan?
Go the city site and look for the area you want to leave a comment on: https://www.annapolis.gov/1446/2040-Comprehensive-Plan

Or, email Casey Ortiz in the office of Comprehensive Planning – [email protected]

How can I review the last (2009) Comprehensive plan?

What if I can’t make it on September 5th?
The city has other, in-person sessions scheduled for September 6th and September 9th at Pip Moyer. See attached image.
